Steve, Every derogatory thing you said about Hillary could equally be applied to the Shrub and his brain, Carl Rove. They are probably even more Machiavellian and despicable for the same reasons. None of them are any good at all for civil society and policy debate. They are propagandists who are lowering the standards of the political debate. Intentionally. As much as I respect Dick Morris, I would disagree that hillary has a chance at winning the presidency ever, unless they can concoct a vote fraud campaign that is off everyones radar. In fact the liklihood of an Independent 3rd party winning in 08 is better than 40%. This is based on a theory that works much like the Elliott wave stuff we use for stocks. In the past the 3rd parties have proven to be useful idiots to the wining party democrat or republican, with climbing numbers there will be a breakout of an Independent and that Independent will win the White house if not in 08 than in 12. The non voting majority is the Middle. Democrats are losing ground with the middle and being isolated on the left. The left is in big trouble with everyone accept their own membership. Analysis shows that as a % of the population the left represents under 8%. The hegemony of the Left Media in the US and in certain offices of our Government is cracked and cracking respectively. The left as an ideology has been over represented in media by all metrics of minutes allocated. This fact has led consumers to alternative media, allowing these new mediums to find and gain a foothold which will never be undone, all other factors being equal. Vandenhuvel...has outlived her usefulness as a commentator is wasting bandwidth every time shes on the air,yet Chris Matthews keeps rolling her out while the public turns him off. The old media never learns, it has the poorest sensory mechanisms in the business world. It does not listen, it just projects. Wait until advertisors begin to understand that the old line media needs to be negotiated with, for much lower rates, rates commensurate to a shrinking audience sick of being talked down to. The dems will lose a significant number of Blacks to independence as the realization sets in just how useful they have been to the dem prty. 12% to 18 % of the Black voting block will bolt to alternative candidates in 08. Move over dick...there is a new sherriff in town.
