I could quote you some stuff from the master of modern propaganda, Goebbels. About simple messages, endlessly repeated, with high emotional content and little else. Dumbing-down, for crowd appeal. It's quite effective. You can't sell this war and the next, by having everyone read position papers from the American Enterprise Institute.
