I think the Chinese stocks' 2nd quarter earnings will be weak. But the Chinese ADRs are still strong. It appears to me that the market will be gentle to the ADRs.

SARS could end up being a very large plus for China. She will have to build new hospitals which is a stimulus to her own economy. SARS could also be the push she needs to jump start the field of medicine as well as bio tech.

China is becoming a huge world trade partner. SARS she does not need and I am sure she won't shoot herself in the foot.
