If you believe in regression to the mean and coin flips, the longer term trend says you should bet against the current trend now... but perhaps you are a momentum player? :) Momentum players will end up paying 2 or 3x for Cary's stocks and hope to sell them to greater fools after a 2 or 3x gain. Cary and others that try to buy when very cheap, just hold on and don't worry if they go down 50% as they are confident they will get the 4 to 9x gains by selling at the same numbers on the way up that the mo-mo players will hope to sell at on the way down.
