Just the way it worked out...however many are 401k's and retirement accounts and etc, which I dont mess with. Have 2 online trading accounts....been thinking about this stock basket thing and how to go about it. If I buy QQQ in my regular account, then I will be able to put more money into less stocks...maybe 2 baskets of 10 stocks each. The drawback is when I look at the QQQ's, it is 100 companies, very small %'s allocated to each. I took the qqq list and broke it down to 23 stocks I want. So, I could either buy qqq in regular account, but have 100 stocks and smaller %'s, or I could create a basket of the 23 stocks I picked from the list, and have larger %'s of each. But if I do that, then I still have to come up with 2 other baskets for my other stocks, and less will go into them, since I am starting with only $10k in the basket account to see how it goes...so if I buy the qqq's in my regular account, it's a two sided coin. I dont use any of the $10k in the basket account, I get my techs via the qqq's, but I get 100 stocks and smaller %'s......or, I make 3 baskets, 1 with the 23 I picked from qqq list, and then 2 more baskets for my other stocks, but will have less to put into other stocks, since my qqq basket will eat up funds. Any thoughts? Would yall go with the qqq's in your regular account and then 2 baskets with higher %'s for my other stocks ( WMT, HD, HDL, LOW, PG, KKD and etc...), or just dont buy the qqq's and go with 3 baskets, with one, my smaller version of the qqq's? Also, do I wait for a correction or bad world event to tank the markets, or go ahead and buy now? Been waiting with cash as the market has rallied and rallied, waiting for a big drop...hasn't happened yet....hmm, since there is no cost to BUY, only to sell..maybe I could buy 50% of my baskets now, and then wait....buy other half lower, if we go lower, or buy other half when we know bear is gone and trend is up...hmm..all opinions welcome...by the way, where is everybody? Folks tired of watching this crazy market I guess....thats one reason I kind of want to diversify, and get more stocks, less shares, and then dont worry about it for the long term...just pick quality and hope for the best.....
