There is no solution against an enemy who will use against us the fact that we care more about the lives of his women and children then he does. No solution, but victory.

No disagreement there. But I doubt the Iranians are playing a role in supporting these particular protesters (who are predominantly Sunni and Baathist supporters).

And Syrians, who dare to support these groups, should be thinking twice... Personally, I think these demonstrators were part of Saddam's loyalist factions, who still see an opportunity to subvert American credibility and exact some payback.
