To: Ilaine who wrote (97017 ) 4/30/2003 10:06:25 PM From: Sig Respond to of 281500 I dont need no proof of WMD's in Iraq. I've seen and heard enough hideous things about the peoples lives there to realize the action taken was justified . It was, no matter what the reason given . It will be like the OJ trial. Did the glove fit ? Were those his shoes? Blood is not on the door or the fence, and weeks later it is there. Were his fingers cut.? I still dont know the answers. Even if we find the WMD's various people will be arguing years later about that.So when they are found every country will be invited in to witness the location. Neat story on John Wayne. Some one made a connection. There are people, older, with spare time, in a stable economy like we have here, with some incentive to investigate farther and perhaps write a book.Which is more effective that statistics. Makes me wonder about Rachel Carson and her book Silent Spring. How many people have died from malaria because that book affected the banning of DDT. There are many who wonder why the government does not tell us everything, and therefore expand that to say they are lying. Do people really believe we should have access to all the data at the CIA or the FBI, and that all the data should be made public? Would you tell a criminal that you are coming down tomorrow to arrest him and take away his stolen diamonds hidden in the garage? At best I would expect to see only 1/3 d the truth to appear in public about our secret operations, which leaves another 2/3 d's that is available for wild speculation as to the devious double dealings of the Administration That dont worry me either, they are used to it (G) Sig @noalgorein2004.com
