I'm glad that you at least called the story inspired. It is a story about temptation of the worst kind. Using devious measures to cause the woman to question just what God said to her and then using pride as a backdrop to convince the woman that she SURELY would not die but would gain the wisdom of God. Whether it an actual happening or not, I leave to the individual. That is is a great lesson on temptation is sure. I compliment you on your post to McR. Not a new concept but surely a good one. Jesus, alone, in the desert. No food. Apparently little or no water. Forty days and nights. Humbled and teachable- by his father, God. James
