Thank God that someone finally came up with the obvious solution. Which is to have the same tax rate on dividends as we have on capital gains. Although this plan looks like it still gives to much of a break to dividend. Their should be a 20% rate for dividends as well.

Perhaphs a corporation should also be given a tax deduction for 50% of the profits used to pay dividends as well.

Most people are bored stiff by politics, if not even treat it like the plague. One thing that really got people interested, in my experience, was tax rebates. Everyone was beaming about their checks in the mail. I sure as hell was.

Only Dems seem to like taxes.
