Obviously if you've done any DD you would know that SIRI has less debt than XM plus the only risk they face is Nasdaq delisting which even if so (doubt it), is a far cry from BK. So why don't you read your own posts before hitting the submit button? You sound like a typical XM pumper who's in love with the stock, if you''re just trading it then draw a chart with both companies starting at 3-14-03 when the volatility (dilution) of the SIRI recap was complete. Keep an eye on this chart and see how SIRI will POP over XM again proving to you that I know how to call these moves. As a matter of fact, SIRI is a much better pick for a trader right now than XM. If you were holding for the long term I wouldn't necessarily suggest selling XM for SIRI but would suggest owning both. Insights: Ford announcement is in the works. Plug'n'Play units out in July and you don't need to pay for a device to hook up to your computer, with SIRI you can stream all music channels on the web, I do it every day at work and everyone who sees or hears it wants it. How's that for free marketing? Also you should know that 75% of XM sales are the Plug'n'Play SkiFi units. When the AudioVox competitor comes out in a few months, it will probably be priced cheaper than the SkiFi and XM sales will slow as consumers will most likely opt for commercial free Plug'n'Play for less. I signed up for a 6 year plan as many others I know and got 14 months free and a reduced price of 10.55 a month. That's basically the same price of XM for better/commercial-free programming with real stream jockies available live 24/7. My best friend in DC works at XM and I can assure you the 3 stations he manages are all previously programmed into a computer. He wanted to get me a free Head Unit for my car and I said NO, I wanted live stream jockies feeding me my music, talented artists who live in NYC and work at Sirius. What about the XM front page on the web? Mostly about themselves and their products, Sirius is more serious about music. Just got to www.sirius.com to see for yourself the difference in their front page. If I'm going to pay for radio, I want the best service, even if it costs $3 more a month, which it doesn't even have to. Best of Luck to your trades.
