US: THE BULLY AND THE GLUTTON Dave, Re: our progress and work counter to our needs. You mean our theft of Iraq's oil, right? That's what you call "progress"? I call progress curtailing the madness of our profligate militarism and bringing the money home to take care of our citizens. Perhaps you haven't noticed but the states and cities in this formerly great nation are in a financial crisis not seen since the Great Depression. While cowboys race around the desert in Mesopotamia in Bradley fighting vehicles popping off civilians for fun and profit. Is that one of our needs? Committing war crimes while letting our own domestic infrastructure rot away? What kind of a sick need is that?
