OJ, not so sure it is negative for the US stock markets. I personally see it as a positive.

Aside the economic numbers are a bit stale at this juncture and to many anticipate the repeat of the previous war.

German April Unemployment Highest Since 1990, Bild Reported
By Vita Bekker

Berlin, May 1 (Bloomberg) -- German unemployment in April reached its highest level for the month since the country's reunification in 1990, Bild reported, without citing anyone.

The number of people out of work fell by 110,000 to about 4.5 million from March, Bild said. From April of 2002, the number of unemployed rose by 474,000, the newspaper said.

The government this week cut its economic-growth forecast for the second time in three months, saying it will expand 0.75 percent this year. Business confidence reached it lowest in 16 months in April.
