OK - UN is pretty much irrelevant, but that's my opinion. I'm not convinced that UN failure to go along with US was based on morality. IMO, it was based on financial dealings. France killed the inspectors by basically saying it would never agree to force under any circumstances. They would have loved "status quo" for years. Of course, full disclosure would require France and Russia to state that force would jeopardize their more than $10 billion investment and loans.

We have to answer to a "higher authority." The book is still open on this.
