btw.. property taxes here have been rising every year on the basis of 10% per year increases in property valuations. a cap at 5% just failed to pass.

that sucks. what state do you live in?

we fixed our problem in michigan several years ago. 4% cap. the municipalities are going to have an interesting problem when house sales prices start declining.

here in Travis County (Austin) they have lowered average property appraisal values year over year. but taxes are still going up just the same. it is inevitable in Texas because we have no state income tax. good place to live humble on a high income.

That's after they impliment the national health plan putting all the obese people in the pool with us. They they'll HAVE to, cause we'll want them to!
