two things ,, one I thought Germany announced they were going to downsize the military and only use military for peace keeping.. Something posted on si in the last day.. second. another post announced we are pulling troops out of Germany. So it appears this isn't being discussed but has been put into action. Now I wonder how the German citizens feel about major military bases leaving the country.. I can see the small business owner and others in these surrounding towns looking for ways to supplement the american dollars they will lose.
