Yes, it has been both sad and fun to watch that endless battle, from late 50s, early 60s until these days, not to forget all the preceding history. Superman is fun, clearly the only believable possibility and savior outside regular and irregular religions, to maybe produce some improvements, despite the regular dilemmas and that famously gerrymandering 2-party system.
