LOL! My being in Houston has little to do with it. Houston was a "blue city" in the Pres. elections. And that newly elected governor, in a UNION STATE, was in the minority if you recall. Just wait, John. The Dems think they lost the elections because they weren't far enough to the left. My generation, and especially the kids in their early 20s now, are more conservative. A lot of people have been put off by the anti-war movement, and the Dems aren't reaching. 2004, IMO, will be a red tide.

That is where you have to start, John. Ya gotta be an optimist on this or go into depression. :>) I, of course, think it will be a blowout for the right. I see it as right "Character and values' vs left "issues."

We are going to spend a lot of time on this concept, I think. Rove is on to this, IMO.
