Sen. Chuck Hagel (R. Neb.) happens to have a financial interest as shareholder and board of directors member of one of the largest electronic voting device companies in the country.

Which company? While I may be wrong, I would think that the Senate rules would preclude a sitting Senator from sitting on the board of a private company. Even if the rules do not prohibit retaining a board seat, it seems like it would attract the sort of attention that a politician would like to avoid. TIA
