The "some people" that you mention includes the vast majority of Democratic representatives in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. That is the truth.

And that is why the road to the passage of tax cut legislation is so difficult.

Some people will never get that....only because they don't want to. They would rather pander for votes.

Nice line, Karen, except that it chooses to ignore the vote pandering to the rich of voting for these kinds of soak the poor tax cuts. And, "pandering" may be too weak a word since we all know who funds the campaigns of both parties but, most particularly, right now, the Rep party. And we know, that thanks to those funding levels, which party is most vulnerable to such "pandering to the rich".
