there is plenty of land for all

Then why are Israeli settlements mushrooming in the land known as "Palestinian territories"?

What does your statement have to do with mine? Look at the map of the mideast. There is plenty of land.

Settlements have taken a life of their own. I'm not happy with the settlement policy and agree with most that, if there is real peace, some settlements will have to be abandoned.

As others have posted, if the mideast were a football field, Israel would be the size of a match box. The desire for this particular footprint by the supposed Palestinians has been overstated. Like most, they just want to live in peace. They've been politicized and held hostage by the Arab governments as a unifying force by the tyrants, OILogarchs and despots who control most Arab nations.
