I just spotted a really well written piece you might enjoy. While I tend to be shrill in my denunciations of the Bushies, because so much is at stake and the American public are so frustratingly complaisant, here's a fellow from South Africa who has the luxury of witnessing the creation of a totalitarian state in the U.S. with a bit more equanimity:
