I appreciate your sentiment, but I think you'd have better luck emailing the Mafia suggesting they abandon drugs, gambling, and money laundering.

The real problem is the vast majority of Americans no longer have access to the government or a say in the governance of our nation. You get 1 token vote, then school's out for another 4 years. Foreign countries have better access than American citizens, for the simple reason they can afford the cost of being heard.

The current system is about like a suggestion box with no bottom and a trash can underneath.
