I guess it is convenient to omit that this site is also the remains of the Jewish Temples built by Solomon, I think, and rebuilt after the return from Babylonian exile, I think and, as such, is the holiest site in Judaism. Oh, I forgot, Sharon should have known that Arabs are taught that there was no historical Jewish presence in the Holy Land and that they would not be able to see any justification for his visit.

Absolutely correct. This insight can be gleaned from a cursory review of the facts. For that reason, the basic facts have been scrupulously withheld from the American public.
