Security and terrorism were the main reasons. Human rights happened to be a supporting reason.

Remember George and Laura going on television to highlight women's rights issue in Afghan.

Should they have started a weekly program about it?

No doubt there are "academics with agendas" selling this sort of bridge to their students every day.

Very objective of them, wouldn't you say?

John, if you come up to me, smile, and shake my hand, I don't know if you like me or are getting ready to hit me. I have to judge you by what you do. Same with Human Rights. Look for the outcome, not the yak yak.

The left, on Human rights, is like the Christian who goes around telling everyone how good he is on Sunday, while screwing people on Monday.They talk up a good story, but the action sometimes sucks.
