Cool Mike,

How did I know it was Cabletron?

Because Cabletron made the best Layer 3 Switches and since this is my industry and business, I named my corporation:

"Layer 3 Systems, Inc."

I would refer you to the website www.layer3systems.com but it's being rebuilt currently.

It was great getting back to basics with you.

Anyway, I don't think SIRI will succeed solely based on their technology, obviously they have a new marketing campaign which is doing great but even more importantly:
As it always is with the Music industry, which I've also been a part of, it's the kids that determine what's cool and gets to survive. I'm in touch with the music industry and Sirius has been getting the word out about their commercial freedom. In a couple years, when teenagers are well informed about SDARS and their parent is about to buy a unit, they will dictate to their parents the service offering of their choice. Currently the word is just getting out, but when it does, I predict that SIRI will be the cool one of the two and the one to have for the new generation. This is more important than their better technology and the reason I'm bullish on the stock.

My girlfriend's brother (21 years old) had been listening to XM for almost a year in his friends cars and loved it. Recently he bought a SIRI unit after he heard it just twice in his sister's car. Some installers I've talked to (all young) have been swapping their old XM units with SIRI.

I read a review in Mobile Entertainment magazine about Sat Radio. The guy doing the review had been given a BMW equipped with Sirius, he's had XM in his own car for a while. After driving around with the BMW for a while, he said in his review that the only thing he likes better about XM was the alternative country channel and the fact that XM has one more Comedy channel. He said he would like to have both services available at the same time if he could. This from someone who is used to their XM units already?

SIRI is cooler IMO because I've also tried both services. Go to your local CC and try both services while there and give me your opinion. Ask the installer while you're there which one they prefer?

Have a great weekend,
A8
