Personally I think they don't want to come clean because then they will have to get into little inconvenient details like whose interests are we really talking about and how much is that interest worth or is it really in the interest to do so. And I really don't think they want to face or answer those questions. If there is one thing I have learned from attending the electoral habits of the human animal, it is that politicians only tell you what you want to hear. No more no less. If ever there were a realm wherein it could be said that a human being can't handle the truth, its in a "democracy." Were it not so we would all be speaking Greek (classical), eating lamb every night, and worshiping bulls. <Hoo> Ultimately, there can be only one government in the world but that will be in a federated (or confederated) model. ...As best I can tell we have that now. ...Or as much of it as we can take without killing far far more of our own kind than we ever have before. In order for such world government to exist, its citizens need to feel a sense of equality and fairness. So long as we do not promote such values, we are delaying the inevitable and prolonging the bloodshed and misery. Ok. Now I will just have to demand that you disgorge that "Sun Tzu" handle and take to calling yourself "Pollyanna!"
