Has either company given any figures out about gross additions as compared to net additions?

XM's churn ranges from 1% to 1.3%, mostly as a result of listener's situational differences (bad debt was specified as the major factor). I've not heard on SIRI's, but in general, Satellite Radio listeners seem to be a very loyal group thus far.

I doubt that the general public can afford to switch SDARS companies. Installers are probably getting their systems dirt cheap or free so the cost is not a big matter to them.
