check out gold chart... 50dayMA meeting 200MA now again

last time it did was late autumn
we got a nice greedy runup

now we have it again
not exactly a 50MA touch of 200MA
but parallel cruising is a good sign of ended correction
naysayers will miss the early part of the run

silver is signaling a move

the gold metal chart, which I wont analyze further, not now:

anyone out there an expert on telephone lines and AOL ?
this is the first time I have succeeded in making an AOL connection on dialup from my home phone line since early April
very frustrating

the connection worked once in early April, and not since
after about 20-25 attempts on various days

Verizon claimed the problem last year was due to a short in my PC's modem
I say bullshit since on a different phone line (roommate's), I had no trouble with about 300 consecutive connections in 2002 and early 2003
and no trouble the same hour in moving over to my roommate's line when VZ guy was here
he shrugged his shoulders and left, with $95 charge

I took my PC laptop to a couple different friends' homes
each time the AOL dialup worked fine

the telephone line in my bedroom here is an unusual one
we are in an apartment building
this apartment has a main phone line, and I wanted a separate one
I had to get Verizon to make a house call to change my bedroom jack to accommodate a different phone number
the voice features to this line work fine
but the AOL connection is 95% a failure, maybe worse

any insight on what might be the problem ???
anyone ???
I see no need to change the AOL settings, since it works
the problem is intermittent with the phone line, my guess
it could be the PC's modem, but I doubt it
I thought of getting a PCMCIA card, but I think my PC is fine

thinking about getting AOL Broadband with DSL technology
but would the intermittent troubles undermine DSL also?
any help appreciated
it is worth a small box of candy to any ideas that clear it up
a very small box
and very cheap candy
