But John....you forgot one BIG thing. There are MANY MANY more votes in the "poor and middle class".... It's not the votes, it's the media. Expensive stuff but we are definitely a TV nation. If you've got the bucks to frame the issues your way, it really doesn't matter what they are. As I recall, close to 50% of the American population thought Saddam was involved in 9-11. God knows how many think that tax cuts actually benefit them, just as they manage to pay more taxes for less services so the richer can get richer. Well, we've about run this one down to the ground, Karen. And I'm tired of trying to do the one liners. That's really Bill's style. Not mine.
