Well, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings but I was giving my opinion to someone else about a chart he found. I opined why I thought it was silly to predict the market using a chart that only shows the recent 3 year bear and not the bull before it and how those indicators reacted during the bear market. Since we are right at a transition, a percent higher and we are officially in a real bull market, you need to show both. It reminds me of the same nonsense we got at the top of the bull from bulls who made up new ways to evaluate companies like clicks rather than earnings. I don't see you sticking your ass out there providing any analysis, so I question your ability to question other people's ability. Hmm. You should take the time to click our names to see what we link to. I've been writing about this stuff since 1997 suite101.com And I have had an investment newsletter people have paid for since 1998 home.netcom.com And my record is decent over a full cycle as that last link will show. I just don't talk about it here as this is the chief's thread and I want to learn what he has to offer plus it is fun to joke around with a fun bunch of people who don't take themselves too seriously. If in ya canna take da chief or one uv us callen ya a dumazz now n den, den eye say you best not read dis here thread. BTW, your chart work is very good. I just don't think it was predictive (useful) at all in the original format which is what started the discussion.
