I really do think hiring is picking up a little in SV, though. Yesterday I got stuck in a bona fide traffic jam on 101 in the morning.

The naz was on a bit of a different schedule as far as the bear vs. the blue chips/small stocks/retail etc. So maybe we can see some pickup in tech, while still in a declining macro economy, I don't know.

Yes. The employment number is a lagging indicator. The economy is in better shape than it was in Nov/Dec. This will be a slow recovery. Have fun, and stay out of the market. I need people like you out of the way to pick up values. Come back when I am ready to sell. Cheers Immi
