the Fed intervention is planting widespread seeds of future price inflation they misread the present consistently they overreact to other urgent need for action they will continue "pedal to metal" for a long time they have been pressing hard since Jan2001 that is almost 2.5 years now !!! I try to acknoweldge the need to offset the burned capital but it reminds me of a man who was badly sick for 3 months he has lost 30 lbs now shoving 16 plateloads of food every day will NOT revive his health it will give him a different malady of extreme proportions probably a ruptured stomach, circulation problems, accumulation of fat quickly, and much more one of the real big serious errors with the Fed thinking is their inability to differentiate this money from that money or should I say this credit offsetting that dead money? if $1M is burned with a personal bankruptcy default of debt, and $1M is resupplied into his back yard, where does it go? the new money does NOT instantly make him a viable new business entity !!! it makes him a new speculator or his neighbor a new speculator / jim
