Yeah, that's exactly right--and it's even MORE interesting to note the ties between members of the first Bush Administration--like our boy, Rummy--and Saddam Hussein in the 1980's...

Funny, isn't it, how you don't hear much about that subject in the "left-wing" media, too...

_____________

Saudi Arabia It is interesting how were heard so much from the Bush Administration and the media about what a monster Saddam Huessein was. But, when it comes to the repressive way our "ally" Saudi Arabia conducts itself, there's a virtual media blackout and Bush and his cronies have nothing to say about it. A lesson in how propaganda can be used to get the people to focus on enemies of the state.

It's more the lack of propaganda, isn't it, RN? The Admin has not done any puff of SA, they just don't talk about them. Take a look at Bob Baer's new book, "Sleeping With the Devil" if you get a chance.

I want to look at it here from our domestic politics angle rather than the Foreign Policy one. We need the Saudi's cooperation on Oil. That simple. So we walk the Diplomatic path of gettin that, while letting them know they have to stop funding the Wahaabi Terrorists.

You can pound on one Admin or the other, but I think this will be our policy no matter who is in office.
