Well heck. Ebay only gets about 10% juice on the auction. They ought to be making about as much money as GM. Where does it all go? Just think if they can sell and resell $5 Billion worth of beanie babies one day. <g> Seriously though, I saw someone bidding about $50 for a 2003 Silver Dollar Proof coin. Why they didn't just go to the USMint.com and buy it direct for $25 I don't know. Same with the State Quarter sets. About double what you could have bought it from the mint for. Now I don't know if these particular auctions are rigged. But hey, Its got me to thinking about ordering a few thousand bucks worth of year 2003 proof coins from the mint for my own Ebay sales. Nothing like a 100% return. Ebay: better than the market? Is it where all the old hype stock bidders now hang out? Oh look, here is a $425 bid on an ounce of gold in a $50 Gold Eagle bullion coin! Hurry,.... auction ends tomorrow!
