Do your own math, lazy-boy. What nincompoop would compare GE to LIM.T solely on the basis of shares outstanding. Pretty weak metric for comparison there, when everything is risk reward timing nowadays. LIM.T is a very successful base/gold/(and shortly PGM) mining company?

I wouldn't give you a "nickel" for GM stock as a valid base metal mining play with an eye toward shareholder value appreciation.

The only relationship GE has to the world of GOLD is this:
they are the sole owner of a multi-million ounce reserves gold mine --current valuation at time of purchase from sheriff bankruptcy in 1988 for $18,000 of in excess of 1 billion dollars in value.

It's out here in Eastern Oregon. Mothballed Mine's name: Cornucopia!

OH, and make that just G_T...wrong plumbing.
