You will be reasonably safe if you don't download attachments but you can be hit with embedded code in an HTML message

Is there a way to spot this before reading? I take it what you are describing works its evil when you open it. Do you have to actually hit something in the email? What triggers it?

And - of course - does NAV 2003 screen for this? I often wonder how virus programs do on AOL email since aol seems to have its own rules.
