Someone once told me that Byrd was a prolifigate expansionist when it came to anything with his name on it. His meglomania is unmatched by anyone on the world stage except saddam. W V is a poor state in relative terms, yet Mr byrd has been able to siphon off huge tax dollars for his table of largess, while not our senator ( anyone outside WV), he's been deep in all of our pockets. This further illustrates how government spending, does not create prosperity, but it does create monuments and streets, and buildings all named in a fashion for the man who was able to pick the pockets of everyone else.

I dont even have to ask whether s byrd will vote for tax cuts, nor do I have to ask whether senator byrd will do anything in his remaining years to redeem his legacy as a big spender of everyone elses money, he wont; you can rest assured of that.

So My hope is that someday every monument and every street in the great state of WV, named after mr quick hands, meets a fate like all of saddams statues. In the mean time I'll be praying that a libertarian white knight has already been born on one of byrds avenues amongst the clutter of byrd dropping momentos to whom a destiny for the rest of the people of WV awaits, people longing to be free of one one s r byrd, prolifigating senator with an crossed eye for that green sign at the top of your street.
