brilliant post. in the main wrapping the macro trade around the micro moves. rarely see anyone explicate quite your way. was just talking to someone at lunch today about this very problem.

What is day trading to some is long term to others. There is a guy on one of the popular boards who watches one minute bars and reports on them ad naseum. Any short who covered and went long at the place we are at now in the equity markets, got toasted whether bull or bear market. The degree of the burn was correlated to the general direction of the market. The war rally made sense and it happened, a pullback here makes sense and I also think it will happen.
