If only cooler heads would have prevailed back in the 80's when we had the chance to form a true "Big East" conference for football, all this might be for not. Unfortunately, some egos were bruised along the way - we won't mention any particular names. <g> I still think we are very close to that 12th team in our conference tho - there's just too much money involved in this play-off game. If the ACC is successful in pulling this off, the pressure will be too great on the Big 10 to ignore. Still think you guys are a perfect fit. If we could give up a few rivalries, so can you. And hey, we now have a chance to win "The Land Grant Trophy" every year. So we have that going for us - and that's good. ;)
