I agree 100% with what he has said. BTW, his commentary reflects very much the opinions of Kevin Philips, who would be a Republican, but for the scoundrels who've stolen the party of Lincoln and turned it into the party of crony corruptions and christian crassness.

The purpose is to starve the government of revenue so that, in the long run, Congress will have no choice but to cut back spending and, with that, diminish the size of government.

Whether or not that is indeed the primary motive behind the tax cuts, I sincerely do hope that the above does result. Since both major parties lack the cojones to cut back on profligate spending, anything that forces them to do so is more than welcome in my book.
