Derek, I forgot! We American gun nuts are all brawn and no brains. Mad overkill. Wanna kill a fantail [a tiny bird]? Use at least a 357 Magnum and at least there should be a few feathers still left. Not much use for having dinner though. Wanna kill a rabbit? Go for the 12 gauge shotgun, give it both barrels and sprinkle salt on the lead pellets for flavouring.

If it moves, Kill It! Kill! KILL!! KILL!!! I wanna KILL something.

I've already had a training course at Camp Pendleton with a shotgun. But only with clay thingies, not actual live animals or people. I got 17 out of 20 on my first go, which was apparently pretty good. They were only firing one at a time though [double clay thingies were a bit further along - dopey looking old gun nuts I watched couldn't get many but double clay thingies must be cool].

How was that? For shooting ostriches, I suppose we should use a tank with depleted uranium shells. Rhinos would need a bloody Saturn V with nucular warhead!
