I think they should try drugs designed to suppress Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha (TNFa) - which already exist, created recently for rheumatoid arthritis - Remicade, Enbrel, Humira.

Maybe this isn't something health care providers would try on ordinary patients, but given that maybe 25% of SARS patients are health care providers -- if I were one, I'd try it on myself.

Maybe it will work, maybe it will be a death sentence.

Either way, you're a hero for trying.
