Hi DJ, <<election>>
I definitely do not know but can ask.
Besides e-mails, I keep track of TnT thus ...
guardian.co.tt
... and so ...
trinidadexpress.com

As you see, all is not well. A Trinidad Chinese cousin by marriage is Minister of Security, and he is a bit ... well, young, for the job. Before the USA Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan, Chin Lee did one in Trinidad while I was visiting. It was announced ahead of time, and so, as a result, not a lot of bad guys were captured.

... hmn, come to think of it, in Afghanistan ... :0)

If to live in TnT, Tobago is the place to be, with population 30k, and no lock necessary. If in Trinidad, gated security compound style living is the way to go.

Chugs, Jay
