Real boom 15 years away. A concocted one? A real boom is at least 15 years away. Why in order of importance: Demographic start biting real hard. Technical obsolescence to éat'into existing technical infrastructure. Depletion of oil reaserves changing the map of energy in the world. Death and senility 'eating' into babyboomers'relevance. Bio-technology. Cleaner fuels. Coming mainstream. A concocted boom, can be made as soon as next year. They need a nice story. Few cover of business week. A couple of guru's a la Gilder and the cash starts flowing.
