Hi Susan: Gee, it must be nice to be missed. The only ones who miss me are my pups, Capt. Tomato and of course Lettuce.
I think you are absolutely doing the Right Thing. I'm still in my free Paltalk Room: "Lee Kramer: Trading room." six pretty good traders; we share trading ideas, alert each other to day and swing-trades...long/short/QQQ's, futures, options...and have FUN while trading. Best decision I've made. As to the market: I see the Naz into it's 11th month of an inverted H&S re-accumulation bottom after a multi-year 78% mark-down phase....waitinging for confirmation of a new mark-up phase but it might take some time. I see this as a terrific trading market. I'm still day-trading, but will shortly begin to put a small % of my capital into swing trading...been a long time since I've carried anything overnight, over weekend. I've been increasingly pulling up the 180 and 60 minute charts, then the 5 and 3 minute charts for entry and exits.

Note that the NYSE has been exceeding NAZ volume for several weeks.

Stay the course Susan.

Lee

Hi Stranger,

Ya gotta do what's best for you. Glad to hear you are doing more and enjoying life. This is the busier time for my real biz, so I am trading less. Still trying to talk myself into the Sell in May theory, but failing as usual...

Hi Sue,

Glad to hear from you. I was a bit concerned of course...
I've been lurking a lot and have been trading a lot less. :)) Lately though I've been starting to accumulate some of the beaten downs ($1-$5 range), hoping that one of these days the market will reward me...

Lost some, won some... but mostly I was scared to stay in. There was a time there when I just can't seem to do anything right... my shorts go up and my longs go down. :((
What a market! Instead of giving up every penny I gained in the late 90's I deciced to stay out a while, and travel some. Now I'm cautiously optimistic that the market will be a lot less unpredictable and give poor ole me a chance.
Really nice to hear from you. Most of the usual suspects are still around and soon I may join all-you-all once more.

Later,
SF
