HMO's really don't care about quality, they care about the bottom line. actuarily, people move from plan to plan a number of times in their lives. therefore, preventative healthcare means little to an HMO because it costs extra money. the HMO's know ultimately that medicare will be left holding the bag. that is a major problem on a variety of levels -ng-
