Just watched the Dem debate on Cspan. Not bad. Certainly not even close to the way the newspapers treated it. It's good to see candidates who can actually talk an intelligent sentence. That's for starters.

I thought Gephardt did himself the most good. He's a genuinely bad public speaker; but this time was quite good, specific, cool, straightforward; Kerry didn't hurt himself and still looks the strongest to me; and Graham was surprisingly interesting though his politics are certainly not mine.

Dean was a negative surprise. Edwards was ok but did nothing to cause voters to pay attention to him.

Best line of the debate was Kerry's. We need a president who doesn't assume the members of only one political party are patriots. Good for him.
