Huey,

I am also equally interested in your free cash flow numbers

I wouldn't be surprised if every single post you've written in response to my posts about free cash flow contradicts that. In my mind, that statement has absolutely no demonstrated credibility.

there may not be much difference between your adjusted free cash flow numbers and my adjusted free cash flow numbers anyway

For someone who believes there may not be much difference, you sure have wasted one helluva lot of bandwidth. Considering everything you have written about the subject, if you don't know what the difference is regarding the companies you follow closely, shame on you. I do know what the difference is for the companies I follow.

I believe my adjusted free cash flow numbers are important ... I also think S&P Core Earnings are a very useful measure for looking at the performance of the core operations of these companies in question.

We get it. We know how you feel. You've explained that three times, unsolicited each time, in a 26-hour period this weekend alone. We've seen it countless times before and seeing it another 100 more times won't add to our understanding of how you feel.

What really bothers me however, is the possible widespread perception that the quality of reported free cash flows are comparable between companies. Imho, they are not.

That's very noble of you. I believe it's reasonable to state that people that regularly follow this folder already understand that no two sets of numbers are of comparable quality, whether it's the income statements, the balance sheets or the cash flow statements. We get that too.

I apologize for using the word "tout" in reference to you and free cash flow. That was wrong.

Apology accepted. However ...

since I understand that you are indeed pompous, but not asinine, I will forgive you.

Don't bother. Surely you understand that when looking for forgiveness, I look to a higher authority than you.
