The Taliban is decidedly less alive and certainly not well in Afghanistan when compared to prior the invasion. Bin Laden has two less official states to hide and train in and a lot less money to spend. Cheer up, the number of sadistic dictators and terrorist states is declining fairly quickly...or would you prefer GW step up the pace and move on Syria tomorrow?--MK--
