i used to live in sunnyvale liz. btw you are quite the tech optimist. not yet liz. too early to call a bottom. this is a dead cat bounce.

"By all accounts, the job market remains deeply depressed and will be the last to recover. Santa Clara County's unemployment rate in March was 8.4 percent, just a little bit below the peak of 8.9 percent registered in October.

"Nothing has changed," said Mike Chandler, a recruiter of contract electrical engineers in the Sunnyvale office of Oxford & Associates. "Our demand has been off by two-thirds and I've been seeing the same level of demand for the last 15 or 16 months."
